Karatina University Food Science And Nutrition Students Win And Excel In The Short Training Global Korea Scholarship
The Korean Government GKS short-term summer program is a training and research study awarded on a highly competitive basis to undergraduate students from Africa and Latin America. The aim of the program is to provide the participants with an in-depth academic training along mentorship for 5 weeks from Korea staff.
Two out of the 20 students who won the Food Science and Biotechnology program were 4th year BSc. Food Science and Nutrition (FSN) students from Karatina University. The two students quickly adapted to Korea culture and emerged among the top ten students at Kyungpook National University.
